My former coworkers at St Jude's arranged a housevisit for us, so that mom could meet our sponsored student Razak and his family. I have been there a couple of times before, but revisting them and seeing the way that so many people live here never ceases to humble me. I'm thankful that we are able to support Razak getting such a quality education so that he can put his family in a better position someday.
Razak's neighborhood
Zeke and Razak
Funny face!
Bibi, Lucy (my chosen translator for our visit) & Zeke
The family (Mama Razak had 5 boys- bless her!)
Mama Razak in her outdoor kitchen
Best friends (and all St Jude's students!)
Out for lunch after our housevisit
Lucy at home with her beautiful girls; Diana & Liz
And finally some Z cuteness to close with...
(I have to brag that he actually looks like me in this picture- usually it's ALL Edward!)
