A Visit to St Jude's

Edward, Zeke and I took mom for a visit to our old stomping grounds, The School of St Jude, yesterday.  We were greeted by so many people who were thrilled to see us again (some of them surprised too).  I'm learning quickly there are vast differences in our two cultures when it comes to children.  For example, people here do not ask permission to hold other people's babies...they simply grab them out of your arms.  Oh and I'm not talking about every once in a while, but it's almost every random person I come across!  So apparently if Zeke is in need of a nap or if I simply want to cuddle him alone, I need to put him in my carrier.  I digress...

My former coworkers at St Jude's arranged a housevisit for us, so that mom could meet our sponsored student Razak and his family.  I have been there a couple of times before, but revisting them and seeing the way that so many people live here never ceases to humble me.  I'm thankful that we are able to support Razak getting such a quality education so that he can put his family in a better position someday.

And finally some Z cuteness to close with...
(I have to brag that he actually looks like me in this picture- usually it's ALL Edward!)
