Date Night + Catch-Up

It's been nearly a week since my last post, so apparently I have some catching up to do.  For starters, Zeke now has two bottom teeth!  I didn't think he could be any cuter, but I guess I was wrong...I just love his new toothy grin!  On Thursday evening, Edward and I had our wonderful housegirl Martha come to watch Zeke, so that we could go out for a nice dinner in celebration of our 1 year anniversary (better late than never).  We went to a nearby lodge, which has an amazing garden and an elegant-yet-rustic feel to it.  It was so nice to go out and relax as just the two of us, and we agreed that when we're a bit more settled, we will start going on date nights more regularly...

Edward has been working overnights at the boarding house for over a month now, and I have to say, I really miss him!   With the way things are, we only see each other on Wednesday and Thursday every week, since I'm also working part-time at the safari office (and really enjoying it, by the way).  I'm just trying to remind myself that this schedule is only temporary, since it looks like Edward will go back to day teaching in January (thank God)!  I'm looking forward to having him home in the evenings again.  Here are some recent pics:

Overall, I really can't complain, life is great.  I'm so thankful that we are back in Tanzania and thriving in every way.  Zeke is certainly keeping us busy and I just love watching him develop more and more everyday! xoxo

  2. All the pictures of baby Zeke are so cute...but then he is so cute and adorable - spoken like a true adoring great-grandmother. I, too, love the matching anniversary outfits, and the very attractive two wearing them - lovely dress Angie and like that color Edward. We love you all.
