Boy oh boy!

Thanks so much for the personal emails that were sent my way.  I am feeling much better now with just a few days remaining on my antibiotics.  This is a post all about my sweet boys and their news...

Zeke and I had a wonderful weekend full of mama-son time, which I loved!  His little personality is really coming out and it's amazing to think that he'll be a year old next month.  Currently, the little man is:

• showing off his 2 teeth every chance he gets (see evidence below)
• cracking up every time I enter his bedroom.  Recently, I started poking his belly through the crib whenever he wakes up from a nap, which sends him into a fit of giggles and causes him to roll all over the place trying to get away!  Ahhh I'm so much like mom... 
• crawling everywhere at high speeds.  No doubt he'll be walking within the next month or two!
• a pizza lover.  We went to a nearby lodge and he ate a whole slice of our shared pizza! Big boy!
• in awe of the stairs.  The other day, he crawled down the step into our sunken living room for the first time, turned around to look at us and started giggling.  Then, he climbed right back up to repeat the process, followed by lots more laughter.  This went on for 20 minutes!
• just the cutest thing in the entire world.  I love love love him.

Edward received great news yesterday.  He interviewed for a position to teach Kiswahili at the secondary campus starting in January, and he got the job!  My hubby absolutely loves teaching, so naturally I'm thrilled for him, and it will be wonderful to have him home again every night.  YAY!
