12...11...10...the countdown has begun!
We're just 12 days away from leaving the U.S. and couldn't be more excited. The decision to permanently relocate to Tanzania is not one that Edward and I took lightly. After a year in the states, however, we have realized that our lives are much richer and more fulfilled in Tanzania. We look forward to returning to the culture that we love, working in jobs that fulfill us, and being on a life mission to help others in need (even if it is in many random little ways).
The truth is that I came back to the U.S. to deliver Zeke, but Edward and I decided to try and make a life for ourselves here. In the end, we've concluded that Tanzania is the right place for us, and the one that we choose above all others to live and to raise our family. We're thrilled for this next chapter of our lives, and as huge as this news may seem to others, for us it just feels like we're heading home.
About Me
- Mama Zeke
- In 2010, I took a trip to Tanzania in east Africa, not knowing that it would change my life in so many beautiful ways.
Now two years later, I am married to a wonderful Tanzanian man and the mother of one adorable little boy. We are headed home to Africa and on a mission to make a small difference in the world. This is a blog of our adventures.
